HELLO! My name is JOHN MCLEROY. Yes, I am the one who is always eating in our television commercials.

My passion for cars began in high school by doing complete overhauls on my own vehicles. In 1984, I graduated from the Athen's Technical College Automotive Program.

My professional experience includes Midas Mufflers, Joe's Garage (before it was Japanese Motor Works), International Harvester (A&I Equipment), Isuzu, and Phil Hughs Subaru '88. I was 75% trained when franchise changed to Mitsubishi and became the 1st Tech in Georgia to complete 100% of the training. After being shop foreman, I worked at Athens Toyota as a Master Diagnostic Tech. (That means I was a master tech for all other category first. I've been at Japanese Motor Works since March 2000.

Pam and I were high school sweethearts and have been happily married since 1982. We have a daughter, Casey in college and son, Daniel, in High school. I sing in choir at Watkinsville First United Methodist, teach Adult Sunday school, and am Assistant Boy Scout Master of Troop 80. In addition to family life, being active in church and scouting; I also enjoy Hiking, biking, camping, woodworking and travel.
